It’s not necessarily a “limited edition” (1000 copies) but this book perfectly illustrates a great book I am reading at the moment Bird on Fire from Andrew Ross, which analyses the instability of Phoenix and its destiny to fail, once again as it did half a millennium ago, due to water overuse and sprawl. This book, A Cavalier in Sight of a Village shows  the outskirts of Los Angeles, specifically in the 30 mile radius around Hollywood known as the “studio zone”. There is something surreal about the rich, almost dark photographs of mostly lone horseback riders in the fringes of an obviously western desert city becoming part of the landscape. Inspired by the romantic paintings of the american “cowboy art” and the Hollywood version of the 19th century.
