Untersberg Sketches
like so many during the pandemic, i began a project close to home. this is an on-going work about the mountain in my backyard.
2020 – ongoing
The Untersbarg is the northern edge of the Alps. Seen from my garden, it is always this fixed point on my horizon. During the pandemic from 2020-2024 I photographed it everyday. This repetetive series is augmented with details of the base of the mountain as well as archeological finds which are housed in the local natural history museum, Haus der Nature, in Salzburg
