The Paris based group of photpgraphers and photobook enthusiasts Le Garage is hosting a book dummy show and competition in Arles this year.

I am going to try to follow it as close as I can, though I won’t make it to Arles this year.

An interesting part of their submission requirements (which is free) is that they won’t accept “book on demand” products. Not out of lack of respect for such on-line services, but for the emphasis which will be placed on materials and individual layout concepts and ideas.

I’m hoping to highlight a few along the way.
